Miss Personality (continued)...

Miss Personality...

I had a great time taking photos of 'little Miss Personality" a few weeks ago. It was so much fun running after her with the camera, wondering what she was going to do next! She was anything but camera-shy, so I got to see so many different little faces, all punctuated with the most beautiful blue eyes you've ever seen! Thanks, little one for being so much fun!

One of the sweetest families in the NW, part 1....

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of doing a photo shoot with the H. family, one of the sweetest families in the whole Northwest! The weather threw me for a loop the morning of our shoot though...we had to change settings three different times because of the high winds. We went from the beach, to a park and then finally decided on a place near their home that was reasonably protected from the wind.
It was such a joy to take photos of this wonderful family....they were all so loving, so easy going, and so photogenic to boot!
It was great to watch the twins too and see how much they've grown and changed since my photo shoot with them earlier this summer. They're real little people now, each going full-blast in their own direction! Here's a few of the H. girls with more to follow.

A wonderful family from the end of August...

Here's some photos from a session about a month ago. This wonderful family waited through several cancellations over the summer cause of either weather or illness, but they prevailed and we squeezed in a shoot right before the end of August. Their dad is a gifted gardener, so that's a REAL sunflower Mr. W is holding. And little Miss M brightened up a whole bunch after this photo was taken with the tear. I promise, I don't make all little ones cry! :)

Something else I'm offering...

So many custom photographers these days are offering much more than just portraits from your photo session. I'm "jumping on the band wagon" too by trying to offer more and more specialty items, so check back in regularly to see what's new.

New for this week, is a different type of collage. This one measures 8" by 8" and has your family portrait or the portraits of your children in the background. Email me at sh100@aol.com for pricing and framing information.

The most adorable "farmer girl" ever...

Here's a sneak preview from a photo session that I had earlier this summer when it actually quit raining long enough for us to fit in an outside photo shoot. (This summer has been a nightmare of rescheduled outside appointments because of the weather.) But this one was so worth it and so fun! This precious little girl is just amazing, such a cutie, so smart and so precocious and so easy to work with! And to top it all off, these sweet friends have an amazing farm with millions of places that make the perfect photo spot! Thank you, wonderful family!

I love babies...

I had the best time taking photos of this handsome little guy and his wonderful parents two weeks ago! What a treat it was to get to see them again AND get to take photos of this incredibly cooperative little guy. It reminded me how much I love to photograph newborns and babies! Such a special treat! Here's a few from our session.

Woohoo! My first photo collage to offer...

Remember the cute little guy from my post two weeks ago? Well, I've been wanting to offer photos collages (also called storyboards) to clients and thought he'd be a perfect one to design one for. (Once I got it designed, I handed it off to my Photoshop superstar daughter who whipped it out in one tenth the time it would have taken me...thanks, Sweetie!)
These are what I would call "wall art" because they're large in size (10"x20"), mounted on a heavy plastic board, and framed. They're an absolutely fantastic way to show off several of your favorite portrait shots and I'm thrilled to be able to offer them!
So, here you go!

A little heart-breaker...

Here are some photos from a fun shoot I did about 2 weeks ago. This little guy can totally melt your heart in half a second! He was so great and amazingly patient for a 4yo, but I knew it was time to call it quits when I started getting more of the back of his head than I did the front!
