Out of town....

I am packing away right now and just wanted everybody to know that I'll be gone on vacation until July 5. Have a happy July 4th, friends!

Fabulous sisters....

One of the things I love most are "sisters shoots" (not that I get to go on a lot of them with my camera-shy daughters!) But I was privileged enough to do a portrait session with two fabulous teen sisters a few weeks back. These two gals were so easy to work with! Another special treat was that the weather and the light even cooperated and gave me some of the yummy late evening golden light! All that made for one fun shoot with two beautiful and talented sisters! Thanks, S. family! Here's a sneak preview to enjoy!

The cutest little guys you've ever seen....

I'm having a hard time deciding which ones to show for a sneak peek with these two little guys. They're all wonderful! The two brothers were just the cutest in their matching overalls! And even though the weather was "iffy" up until the last second, and even though little brother was more interested in my snacks than the camera, we still got some amazing images! Here's just a few from a wonderful collection!

A big guy.....

I've been backlogged lately with photoshop work, so I haven't had much time to post anything....but there's a lot in the works, I promise! Here's a sneak peak from one session from two weeks ago. This little man was such a sweetie....and so big too. He's four months and quite the "back-breaker" for mom and grandmom! He was all smiles (most of the time!) and looked so adorable in each of the hats I put him in! And "get a load" of his beautiful eyes!

Meet this new little fellow....

I want ya'll to meet Little Mr. A. He's just gorgeous! He and his big brother were in the studio a few weeks back, along with his beautiful mom and grandmom, who just happens to be one of my favorite people. This little guy is going to be so well loved!

Another wonderful family...

I had a sweet little guy in the studio two weeks ago and I just got through working on his photos. This little guy didn't want anything to do with laying on his tummy, but boy, was he happy in mom and dad's arms! And then he was all smiles when I put him in my antique basket! He loved standing up! Thanks for coming in wonderful S. family and many congratulations!

Red hair and blue eyes to die for....

I had a senior session a few weeks back that I'm just now getting around to posting. K. is one of my favorite people of all time, and best friends with my daughter, Catherine.....and it was a blast to get her in the studio for her senior session! This young lady is not only gorgeous with her red hair, beautiful blue eyes and "peaches and cream" complexion but is SO smart. We'll be calling her Dr. K one of these days without a doubt! Here's a few from her session.

Senior model...

I'm in the middle of working on the photos from the session of a young gal that's one of my senior models this year. N. is just a lot of fun, an amazing actress, and just a blast to work with!

My senior models or "reps" get a lot of perks like a free session and a free proof book to show their friends. Then on top of all that, they earn credits towards photos or cash for each person they refer. So, it works out to be a great deal for them, and for me! If you're reading this and are currently a high school junior, think about applying to be a senior representative for SH Photography!

Storyboards...

I was just packaging up a large order yesterday for some of my favorite clients and thought I'd post the two storyboards they purchased. They're really gorgeous and came out so well! Storyboards have these wonderful, clean lines that look great in any room of the house! They come in all sizes, but most of what I offer are 20"x20" (like these two) and 10x20". (Framing is available too.) So, for those of you who still aren't exactly sure what storyboards are, here's two wonderful examples.

The cutest little Leprechaun....

I had the cutest little guy in the studio on St. Patty's Day! And boy, did he have the most wonderful little "sausage rolls"....I could just pinch him all over! He had the greatest shirt too that said "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" ! Just perfect for the holiday. Here's a few of Mr. H. What a doll!

Mini Sessions All Year Round Now...

One of the things I'm offering now in 2009, since everybody is feeling the "pinch" a little bit is: year-round mini sessions. These are quick, fun, less expensive, AND you get to see your photos and pick out your favorites right after the session. So, if you've got
a child that you'd love to bring in for a quick visit, then email me for more details. (I'm afraid that this applies to everybody but newborns and seniors, cause they're never quick!)

Welcome to the world, Baby N...

The sweetest parents in the world were in the studio last week with their absolutely precious six day old! I was so proud of them for making the trek in with one so young. (remember parents, under one week is the ideal time for those precious, cuddly, curled-up, sleepy shots!) Mom and Dad were so calm and experienced in handling him, that I would've thought that he was their third baby instead of their first! He was a tad bit fussy, but we still got some wonderful images. Here's a few:

Such a sweet little guy....

I'm just loving all the babies I'm getting in the studio these days. Each one is so precious! And its a great way to keep my "babyitis" at bay! This little guy is number four and the parents are just the best...so he's in good hands! Here's a few of Mr. N.

Miss A...

Like I said, doing photo shoots with teens is so much fun! They know how to pose, and they STAY in one place...wow! Definitely a different experience than a toddler session. :) Thanks so much for a great afternoon, Miss A! Here's a few from our time together.
