An incredible cruise....

Speaking of vacation, we just got back from an amazing Caribbean cruise, compliments of my sweet Mom. It served as a great family reunion with my mom, my family and my two brothers and their families. There were beautiful ports to stop at, tons of laughter and amazing amounts of sunshine and food. So, we all came back tanned, fat and happy! So, "Fam" here's a few from our most wonderful vacation yet! Mimi, thanks for everything!!

Such a fun shoot with such a little sweetie....

Several weeks back before we left on vacation, I had such a fun shoot with little Miss B and her wonderful parents. Hard to believe that she's three now, when its seems like just yesterday I took her two year old portraits! That is definitely one of the things that I like best about this business....getting to watch little ones grow up and transform before my eyes! Miss B was so expressive, full of joy and giggles one minute and serious the next, and so patient with the whole process! Kudos to this little sweetie for being so easy to work with and for having such great parents! Here's a few to share....

Now offering custom birth announcements...

One of the fun things about doing a lot of newborn photography is getting to design custom birth announcements! I love doing that! And now that I'm starting a new Baby Plan where I offer a package of three sessions to document that wonderful first year, I offer a free set of custom birth announcements to each Baby Plan family. So, tell your pregnant friends!

By the way, here's the birth announcement for Mr L. I don't know if you can tell or not, but I have some serious "baby-envy" going on here! :)

So gorgeous and so NEW....

What I love more than anything is taking photos of little newborns and when I say little, I mean during that first week of life. During those first few days, its so fun to get those wonderful images of them so scrunched up, so sleepy, and just so NEW!
So, it is with pleasure, I get the privilege of introducing you to little Mr. L. He could not have been more adorable or more easy to work with! Thank you so much for the privilege of getting to work with him, Mom and Dad!

Just to let everybody know, my photography business will be changing names from SH Photography to Sarah Elaine Photography in the next few weeks, as soon as I get my new website up and going. (finding a website name that's NOT taken these days is not an easy thing!) So, a new, fun and exciting website will be debuting soon! Yipppee!

Gone again...

Thinking about my oldest, who took off yesterday for a job in Switzerland, I just had to post a few snapshots of her. And wouldn't you know that she left before the weather cooperated enough for the "sisters" shoot that I planned for all four of my girls?! All I can say is that if you see this Miss C, get prepared, the minute you touch down on WA soil again, we're getting the camera out! :) And note to all you with younger children, call me and get their portraits done soon, in the "blink of an eye" they too will be taking off on airplanes! :)

A field trip....

Little fireman, jr...

I just had to share photos of this precious brown-eyed little guy. Isn't he adorable? He was just a dream to photograph and his mom is one of my all-time favorite people. This little guy's dad is a fireman, so we had some wonderful props to play with!

Mama and baby...

Here's one or two from a 3 month old session last week. The mama is a photographer so it was really fun getting to see them together and get a lighting tip or two at the same time!

Such a fun family....

I've been working on the photos from a fun shoot I had about two weeks ago. The outside session was scheduled for Saturday morning, but they were so sweet to flex and make it the Friday night before, cause I was getting a little panicky about the weather report for the next day. Well, we ended up having a wonderful evening shoot in their absolutely gorgeous yard. It was so fun being some place so pretty and getting to enjoy someone else's green thumb and gorgeous landscaping (especially when I've been known to kill anything and everything!) Here's a few from our session...

Pure sweetness..

I love the "World of PINK" and everything that goes along with having a house full of girls! So, I've got to share one of the "Definition" collages I'm offering now. This one defines what having a girl is all about. Having a little girl is like having a "beauty filled with delight" and is like having "pure sweetness"! After looking at this collage, I know you'll agree!

Tulips....

Rachel and I had a fun trip out to the tulip fields a few days ago. We made it just in time too, cause this was the only field not cut down. Such a glorious riot of color! Here's a few with more to come if I can ever get caught up with my photoshopping!

Little Miss C...
